I have been watching this for some years now, obviously. There is a definite pattern each week regarding the number of turns, emails etc. I receive per day, activity on boards, etc. Since my gaming activity is about the same each day, I am struck by the variations between days in which I receive more input than I can handle, and others on which I am left high and dry and with little to do in terms of club activity. Strangely, it's not something simple like "people have more time for gaming on weekends". If it were that, the peak day should probably be Saturday. Strangely it's Sunday. Everybody seems to have time to game on Sunday, but why is it less on Saturday, and why is Monday almost as busy as Saturday? Then Tuesday and Wednesday are average days. Friday is about like Wednesday, maybe a little more (weekend approaching?). The absolutely lowest level of activity occurs each week, for some reason totally obscure to me, on Thursday, with a really drastic and noticeable difference to all other workdays in the week. On a Thursday I may receive as few as three turns and almost no other email activity. (A Sunday may see 20 turns and 20-30 other emails in my inbox.) Even the boards are virtually dead on Thursdays.
