Gary McClellan, Phil Natta and Bill Peters were crossing the country to get to Tiller Con II in a small private aircraft when suddenly the engine cuts out. Frantically, they looked about and found only two parachutes. One would not be saved. Stoicly, Gary handed Bill a pack and said, "here Bill, you take this one. You have more games to make, and you deserve to get to Tiller Con II." Bill, with tears in his eyes, embraces Gary, "Thanks brother. This is the most moving thing anyone has done for me," with that he takes the pack, and leaps from the plane. Gary hands Phil a pack, "here take this one." Phil replies, "Gary, now you're a Man-o-the-cloth. You've more important work left to do than I. I can't take this." Gary, with another pack in hand grins, "Phil no need for the stiff upper lip treatment. I gave Bill the pack with your wig." [:D] Just kidding! Trying to wake everyone up! [:p] |
