Honored gentlemen all, As a newly contracted warrior for the king, I have undertaken to manage His Majesty's forces to the best of my ability. But I am born a provincial of only 50% British blood as my paternal grandaparents both emigrated to the USA early last century (my maternal grandparents both came over from Sweden). Given this I do not perhaps have the natural British ability. To hone my skills I needed officer training. So I broke out my old copy of "Flashman" by George MacDonald Fraser for further study. An excellent officer's manual if ever there was one!! My play seems to have improved according to Ens Myers!! I remain, |
