| Post subject: | War of 1812 Scenario Design |
As your are probably aware we have an 1812 Tournament underway. The last game of Round 1 has just started. The scenarios are modified versions of the standard War of 1812 game scenarions. The modifications are intended to make the games "more balanced". They are around 15-20 turns. If anyone, not in the tournament, is interested in providing a scenario for use in Round 2, we should talk. It would be a chance for you to get the 24 players who did best in Round 1 to play your scenario under the same set of circumstances and give you some feedback about how your ideas play on the field of battle. If you are not into the mechanics of designing a scenario, but have an idea for one, I would also be interested in discussing it with you. I'm willing to do the design if you would be willing to do some playtesting. |
