Gents,

This may be of interest to some of you, a new PC game, focusing on our period. Admittedly strategic in nature, it does, I beleive, include a pbem facility!

Manufacturer's Description
Birth of America tells the story of the wars that took place in North America during the late 18th century. It is thus possible to relive the American War of Independence (1775-1783), and also the long fight between France and England for the control of the Ohio valley and Canada, known as the French & Indian war (1755-1763).
Birth of America is a complete and detailed strategy simulation of the two most important wars in Colonial Americas. With a map divided into provinces, the game is turn-based, so you have as much time as you wish to think about your orders. Turns are solved simultaneously by the game engine, so a two-player (or more, depending on scenario) game takes the same amount of time as a single-player one.
