Gentlemen: As most of you know, there is a strategic level computer game called "Birth of America", produced by Ageod (http://www.birth-of-america.com/english/overview.htm), that covers the same wars as the tactical level games by HPS that the CCC currently supports. I hear that several of the CCC members are already playing this; myself I have currently seen the light, being introduced to this game by our own Colonel Gene Renna, who is right now slaughtering my (rebel, would you believe it!) forces in a campaign of 1781 in the South. [:0] The cabinet is willing to discuss the integration of this game in the CCC, provided 1) there is enough interest, i.e. people already playing this, or ready to play it once games could be registered with the CCC; 2) two or three members are willing to form a small committee to discuss the details (scoring etc.) and submit a proposal to the cabinet for the implementation. Hence my questions: who is playing BoA and is interested in doing so in the CCC; and who would be willing to give the details of the integration some thought? [:)] |
