Officers of the Colonial American Army, The French Army, The British Armies in America, and The Indian Alliance, let it be known that Corporal Christopher Baker, of the 1st Pennsylvania, of the Western Department, of the proud Regional Departments, of The Colonial American Army, is this day forward commissioned to the position of Sergeant in the Colonial American Army. He is hereby granted the authority necessary to perform any and all duties required by the Regional Department Commander and shall be charged with the continued brilliant leadership of the First Pennsylvania as well as upholding and promoting the honor of the Regional Department and Colonial American Army at all times.
It is so ordered this 16th day of April by His Excellency Lieutenant General Lucas Kling, Commander-in-Chief of the Colonial American Army.
It also pleases His Excellency to acknowledge the brilliant leadership shown by this officer as he took a Major Victory at Germantown. Long may the colors of the 1st Penn be triumphant!
