What are the chances of knocking out 3 separate cannon (or would they be artillery batteries) on 3 consecutive cannon firings in FIW using a 2 pounder cannon? This happened in a current FIW game recently and I believe it was a 2 pounder for each cannon firing. Would the odds of this occurring be about the same odds as rolling "snake eyes" (two ones) on dice three times in a row? In the most recent 1812 tourney, two consecutive British Man-o'-War broadsides knocked out my 2 most important guns. I guess that, too, happened with very slim odds by the 32 pounders? All comments welcome! |
