<font size="3"><font face="Book Antiqua">Gentlemen of all armies and peoples throughout the land, it is with great pleasure and pride that I announce today the American team’s victory over the French in the 2nd Annual American Grand Army Challenge. Over the past three months, six Americans – Osborne, McClellan, Cox, Laub, Sirc, and Rodina – fought one-on-one against six Frenchmen – Cope, Roubaud, Thomas, Bukal, Dawson, and Bursch – at the Battle of Eutaw Springs. With three major victories for the Americans, and two major and one minor victory for the French, it is the American team that has emerged triumphant by the narrowest of margins, with a final score of 19-17. On behalf of my fellow American officers, I salute our brave and noble French brothers, and bid them great thanks for their enthusiastic participation in this challenge and their ferocious opposition in each of the six games.
