Computer failed. Lost everything on the HD. [:(] Did have back ups of about 75% of my research. So that's good news. Only about 50% of map and oob files were backed up, though. So that's not such good news. *sigh* The computer is running much, much better however. Last spring it got hit by a virus, and never really recovered. Oh well, it's all better now, and now I have something to do. Let's see which should I rebuild first: the material for Lexington, Concord, Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston? or, the campaigns of 1754-55 by Washington, Braddock, Johnson, Monckton and Shirley? Either would make good campaigns. The existing FIW campaigns I did for the CD need to be revamped, especially with the info I've dug up over the past six years. Also, lost my copy of TextPad. I liked that program. Try to download the latest version, and my computer didn't have a file it needed. Oh well. I may have it on a CD somewhere. Guess I'll just learn to use WordPad. hehehe... Highly recommend backing up the HD from time to time, especially if you are the creative type. [;)] Uh Rich H, could you send me a copy of that Boston map, again? hehehe... Man and I nearly had an OOB completed for April 19th for the Colonists, well as nearly complete as one can get. That should be too hard to replicate though, thanks to Google Books. [:)] Hey this just may get me back in the saddle, and start playing a few games here, again. [:p] |
