I started working on a new project matching up the Indian unit pictures with the tribes that I think best fit any suggestions are welcome ![]() Does anyone one know how to add pictures to the Units.bmp? Here is what I have so far: Ottawa 96,116 Huron 96 Shawnee 113 Potawatomi 116 Mingo 96 Mohawk 96,97 Onondaga 113 Oneida 96 Cayuga 96 Mohican 113 Sauk 96,114 Fox 100,96 Menominee 104 Chippawa 106 Delawares 98,108 Mississauga 101 Miami 110 Caughnawaga 96,116 Iroquois 96 Micmac 113 Chippawa 106 |

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font size="3"><font color="yellow">That is one of the easiest files to amend. Open the file using "Paint" or similar art program, then simply add, modify, or rearrange the icons. I have built an icon list for 1776 that has somewhere close to 1300 icons on it. It was a simple case of just changing a jacket color, or a facing color, or the headgear, etc. Unit icons are identified in the OOB by the sixth character in any unit's line: example - U 16 4 L B 489 0 85 Scout Troop 1 - in this case the 489 is the icon in question. To ID the correct icon, just remember the top line in the Unit.BMP file is line 0, not line 1, and the first row is row 0, not row 1, then simply count. The top left corner icon is 0, then 1, 2, 3, etc reading across. For all other rows, you list the line # (1) and the icon number (0-9). In the example above, it identifies an icon in line 48, row 9.
