Help me out gents - - the old mousetrap ain't what it used to be.

Is there a defensive bonus in this engine for units that remain stationary? I seem to recall that units which do not move in sequential turns get a defensive bonus against incoming fire. As I recall, that is to simulate the units getting better positioned or even improving their defenses.

Or is that some other game engine entirely? A brief rummaging of the user manual did not answer my question.

I was taught that there is a bonus when conducting Offensive Fire Combat for units that did not expend any movement points the previous phase/turn...
I've never actually tried to find that so stated in the user's manual though.

Anybody else care to give an input?

The question is: Do units which do not move gain a defensive bonus which accumulates for each turn not-moved?

Or am I thinking of another engine?
