If you have not yet had a chance to preview the fabulous American Revolution / colonial experience provided by the newly released Assassin's Creed III version, then please check out Michael Hattem's web site entitled, "The Junto; A Group Blog on Early American History. You are in for a very fun, and different, experience. Michael's following web page offers over 15 minutes of in-depth previews. There are over 2 and a half hours of content within this release of AC3, itself, that spans:

- Colonial Boston
- Outlying hamlets of Lexington and Concord
- Naval Action
- Frontier experiences with Indian tribes
- Hunting for food and surprise attacks by ferocious animals (puma, bear, wolves, etc.)

I am stunned by the level of A/V quality and the overall multi-media experience. Let us know your impressions.

Make sure to start with the video at the bottom of this page:

Then, after you have viewed the introduction... check out the more detailed production details provided by Ubisoft that is found in the middle of the web page.

Note: you need not be into role-playing, nor action adventure game to get a BIG kick out of this multi-media, multi-episode masterpiece. I, personally, am not into this type of gaming but, gosh, I need to find a local kid or adult who will give me a more in-depth look. This type of presentation, makes us understand how we will educate the next generation, in a very engaging way.

Please let us know how you rate all aspects of this version of AC3. Feel free to use this simple rating system of 1 for very poor and 5 for outstanding / excellent.

I have no hand's on experience, nor do I know how the pieces fit together to form a coherent story.

Please also give us an understanding of how the historic story of the Knights Templar / Free mason's theme shapes the series.

Have at it with your positive or negative ratings, and have fun with this Colonial "Westworld" type of experience.
