Has 1776 been updated to allow units to be emplaced and wheel zoom on the mouse?

Not sure about emplacing artillery, but yes, wheel zoom works in 1776.

Jeff, what update version do you have? And where did you find it? I have 1.09 from HPS website, and no wheel zoom, etc.

Ah Ha! I figured it out. Update patch at HPS is 1.09. Game for sale on JTS is 1.10.

Will the updated version be available for free ever?

Good find, Al. I see that the CHANGES file on the JTS site references v1.10.

That would be a very good question for Rich, but my BEST guess is that the INTEGRATION of the V1.10 patch to the game is PROBABLY being tested and will be a free patch when completed.

We have never seen a PRICE for any HPS/JTS software in HOW many years? I doubt if there would be a change to that, now.
