Hello,

after fixing a lot of personal problems i found a little time for this great game againe.
A question please for the French and indian war :
Scenario 180- Isle aux noix , is this a fictional or historical scenario, could find nothing in the internet
about an amphibius attack to that island.
What is the use of the british infantry unit in this scenario which have no boats ?
Thanks for help.

Rich Hamilton put that one together for his big campaign. I believe the situation is fictional. The British Infantry without boats could be an error, I didn't look. If it is the only one without, I would guess its an oversight. Sorry.

Thanks for info, i like your great scenarios. But by the way , some of them are very long.
Would it be possible , espezially for the mexican war to do shorter versions for some scenarios
on smaller maps with less rounds ?

Thanks, end game requests can always be placed to shorten games. I like to give too many turns for players to have to experiment different plans of attack.

It is possible for players to make sub-maps from the ones in the game, btw, and make scenarios using the editor using them.

I just looked at MAW, and my scenarios were all fairly short. John (Ferry) and Rich had a few long ones there. I have a 214 turn one covering the two-day battle of Buena Vista, all the others were 42 turns (one) or shorter (many single digit turn length.)

There was a small Siege of Isle Aux Noix lasting 6 days in 1760 under command of General Haviland who led 3,400 British and provincials . The siege ended in a French defeat when Major Rogers and Lt.Col Darby destroyed the French flotilla at Isle Aux Noix, Which forced Bougainville to retreat on the night of Aug. 27th over the marshy western bank to St. John's
