Recruitment Records Surpassed
Officers of the Club,
I am very proud to celebrate with you all and share the good news. Earlier this year I had mentioned that our yearly recruitment numbers were getting close to the last record high level in 2008. I am happy to report with the latest batch of officers from August & so far this month, we have not only met that record high, we have now surpassed & shattered it!!!
We have 19 new officers for this year so far. You have to go back 7 years to 2007 to find a higher level of yearly recruits and this year isn't over yet. I don't expect to pass the 2007 goal, but we might come close. This is very unprecedented for us and a sign that we are doing well and on the rise. The Club now stands at 109 members.
The Continental American Army has done the best with all of this, having made up for losses from previous years and is almost at 30 members, 29 to be exact. New members have joined every army of the Club. The French are at a high of 20 members. The Indian Alliance almost 15 and the British are slowly recovering from our decline in past years and are at 45 members.
The Club Staff & members have been doing a lot of advertising both on forums & word of mouth for us to get here. The last two years has seen a great improvement in our recruitment & quality of recruits too.
So drinks for everyone to celebrate this as we head towards the end of the year and our 15th Anniversary Next year!!
