Hello everyone. Me, the indomitable Clifton Seeney GDK in the Prussian Army (also a Haitian prince to boot!) and Major Richard Bradshaw of the mighty host of his most Catholic Majesty the King of Spain, seek a team of French officers to fight the battle of Leipzig. Strong swimmers are strongly encouraged to apply.

The scenario is the first day of the battle of Leipzig, #76. Any takers?

Salute!

Sitting astride their mighty steeds atop the ridge over looking the potential battlefield, the Spaniard could be seen leaning over to his esteemed comrade and was heard to say, " Senor, the land before us is empty of Frenchmen. I saw movement earlier in the day over there but when I used a telescope I saw it was only a short man herding chickens to the stream. I will have my servant prepare dinner for I fear we will be holding this position for a bit." The elder Prussian was only heard to grumble something unprintable about French bravery. *

It is weird, sometimes my cartouche appears, sometimes it doesn't. Not my fault here, I don't even know what to do and I do apologize for it.

I will nevertheless take up the gauntlet, Oberstroumpfbahnnprinz von Bidule Dumas.

I have been told that #92 "operational leigzig" is a fun battle to be played in MP.
Would you consider it instead of the one you proposed?

So far, général Pierre D., capitaine Morehouse and myself are up to the challenge.

As they remained steadfast in their duty to rid the world of the French Fungus, the three stalwart allied commanders stood vigilant. The handsome, yet modest Spaniard repeated his first message in that there was still no movement in the area where the French were to be. The esteemed senior commander, Sir Cliff, drew his attention to hill 92, a bit to the right of us. Look there, there is some movement on the horizon. Appears the French bought one of the "Maps to the Stars" and came in on the wrong road. Let us not trouble them with talk of their inability to read a map and go greet them instead. The brave Viktor nodded his head in agreement and rode off to assemble his forces.

"Battle on, Garth!" he cried as he left. Cliff and I looked at each other and asked, "Do you know of this Garth?"

But Battle On it will be!

To my honorable members of the Allied force the French most think we are fools or foolish that we can win against them in a Central position and get 16000 points for a minor victory. We are separated and although we out number them we still most attack from different dictations. But all hope is not lost if these so call Generals of the French Armee agree to terms of victory. I say 30% French lost of their 184,000 men which is 55,200 Infantry and Cav to our 40% Lost which will be some where around 114,000 Infantry and Cav. Now I know that we will have another 50, 000 men coming on> so I purpose if any of our National leaders are killed that Nations army most withdraw from the game. What say you the Enemy.

I still have to discuss about that with my comrades.

What about optional rules?
