Good day Fellow Gamers,

I have returned after a 6-year sojourn. If COVID has done one thing positive for me, it has provided me with more time to do fun things. I am in the process of re-learning the Tiller engine, have updated all my games with the very latest patches, and am looking for an opponent in a Leipzig battle... bigger the better, was thinking Leipzig Operational Unleashed (Scen #75).

Are there any takers for this? I have never failed to be intrigued with the classic battle. Feel free to suggest the usual Optional Rules... I forget what they were... lol.

I traditionally assume the French side, but am always open for anything.

Talk soon,
Tim

Welcome back Tim. I've been away for just over a year myself. I still have some unfinished business with Ed Blackburn in the massive Four Armies scenario under the Jena-Auerstadt title. I need to contact him to see if he wants to continue after my absence or come to terms.

I'm sure you will find a good opponent on that field of battle. You were a worthy opponent when we last fought there.

Regards,

Jeff

Any takers?

I am flexible... doesn't have to be Leipzig... I have most of the other games too.

Thanks, Tim

Hello Tim.

With such a big scenario I could go with 1 or 2 turns a week. No house rules, and I'd like to see the two new optional rules used, but not overly picky on those two or the other optional rules.

I can play Allies.

I had started what appeared to be a good game with Al Amos a couple weeks back, and we had to abort after 14 turns because of an innocent miscommunication on Optional Rules.

Al rightfully pointed out how some of the Optional Rules that we had chosen had effectively 'neutered' the effectiveness of cavalry and artillery... which given how the Allies outnumber the French by 2:1 in both those proved to be a major disadvantage to the Allies.

This was my first game back in many years, so I had pretty much forgotten how those Optional Rules worked, but the main point being that we need to choose carefully those Optional Rules, and then double check to make sure that we got it right.

So, anyone interested? I cannot seem to find opponents...

Gladly Al... want to do Scn#75 again, or do an October campaign setup that quickly models us to a big Leipzig battle on the same field, but with different opening troop dispositions?

Campaign is fine. I haven't mastered screen shots. :frenchsad: The other OR that we had was fine, just add the two above, works for me.
