Sir, I was tidying my Austerlitz trophy room this morning and discovered that my cuirass has become rather dull and rusty and that I can now only put my hands on one epaulette. I can easily procure a second epaulette but the cuirass may prove a little more expensive. I note however, that you describe yourself as a "newly minted" Austrian cuirassier officer. As such, I presume that your cuirass is bright, shiny and more importantly; rust free? Perhaps you would give me the honour of taking your cuirass for my own on the field of battle. Did you have a particular scenario in mind? Vive l'Empereur! Regards |

Sir - - I do indeed have my Cuirass (Kurass) nice and shiny and am ready for action. I did not have any particular scenario in mind, but thought the actual Battle of Marengo might not be a bad place to start. I am however open to any other suggestions you might have. Also, with regard to optional rules, I am essentially a sponge looking to soak up information as to what the "standard" optional rules settings are and any other settings players prefer. Sir, You have the choice of field. Marengo it is: 098. The Battle of Marengo Historical All game rules ON except for Manual Defensive Fire, No Retreat Overruns, Partial Retreats, and Multiple Infantry Melees. You will need to complete registration of the game (I've initiated it). Good luck Sir, and be gentle with my old bones. Vive La Republique! |
