Newbie (French side) seeks Allied opponent. First human-to-human game ever.
So far, I own JTS Campaign Marengo only. Would consider buying Bayonets on the Rhine.
Any scenario. Small = 1 turn per day. Medium or large = 3 turns per week.

Some preferred optional rules settings:
Manual Defensive Fire - OFF
Isolation Rules - ON
No Retreat Overruns - OFF
Weak ZOC - ON
Partial Retreats - OFF
No Melee Eliminations - OFF
No Detached Melee - ON

Are you still looking for an allied opponent? If so I am willing to engage you on the field of honor. I also have Marengo, so a match from that campaign would be fine. For "Optional Rules" I agree with all of your suggestions, but would prefer "No Detached Melee" turned OFF; however I am willing to let you decide on that feature.

Might I suggest scenario 005. "Montenotte HTH". It is relatively small and I have not played it yet, so it is new to me as well. However let me know if you would prefer another scenario...
