Hello gents Back to the game after I got myself an updated copy of my old Eckmühl game thanks to pristine support from Mr Hamilton. Anyone for a pbem game? I've actually not played Eckmühl very much and am a bit unfamiliar with scenarios (lots of them). so please choose, but not too long a scenario. House Rules of club are ok but happy to change. I play French usually. but open to switch side. thanks. |

Sir, If your appeal should fail to stir the martial blood of the allied rabble by the end of 18/02/21, I will be happy to oblige you in a manoeuvre game. What size of game are you looking for: 10 - 20, 20 - 30, 30 - 40 moves or more? I would of course honour you with the command of the French. Default options acceptable? How do you feel about the inclusion of the "No Detached Melee" option? I will send scenario options once the deadline above has been reached. Vive l'Empereur!

Sir Shall I say that I'm not suprised? Even a retired GdB scares the *** out of those Allies.. So yes, I shall enjoy this manoeuvre game! Deadline's tomorrow if by miracle a Allied face would dare to show. Else let's go for 40 turns max. And happy to have your option included as well. If you prefer the French, that's fine by me as well. Thanks. |

Sir, It would appear that courage is lacking in the Allied rabble. However, have no fear sir, I will honour my deadline and invite you exercise your martial power on the field of honour. I am currently engaged with Ensign Gian Luca Giorgi on the field of Echkmul, playing as the French. I would be interested in playing the same scenario from the Austrian perspective. The scenario: eck4p4.scn : 21 April 1809(A) - The Battle of Eckmuhl on a grand scale. Four Allied and five Austrian corps will be involved. The scenario is slightly longer than your stated 40 max, being 44 moves long, is that acceptable? Or, you can chose another scenario if you prefer. Default options in play. No house rules.
