Post subject:  Seeking the Sound of Allied Guns
I liked the conversation overheard in the tavern, so I seek an opponent to meet at Leipzig or Jena-Auerstadt, preferably in a grand scenario with an operational sweep (big). But only one :eagle: at this time...

Not a fan of detailed house rules, though 1 or 2 simpler rules are fine (restrictions on skirmisher free range, auto defeat for CiC deaths...). I can support ~4 turns/week, possibly more, perhaps occasionally less.

Fight or maneuver - only requirement is bring plenty of powder and lead. And biscuits.

Open to MP as well.

I look forward to sighting you at gun range - preferably beyond your own... shoot us a cannonball with details inscribed and we'll return the favor.

I have agreed to engage the enemy at Ulm, and so will be marching in the field to meet this challenge and bring Victory to France.

Seeking an additional opponent, for an operational level combat to be decided.

Although I am also presently campaigning near Ulm, I have a spare horse and can support a strong pace.

Merci pour votre soutien Monsieur de Montebello.

Initial contact at Donauworth is now engaged; Austrian forces appear to be withdrawing under French artillery fire from the hills above Donauworth.


I still have an open slot for a large operational level combat to be decided mutually (I own most titles). I can typically support fast turns.

I look forward to an additional engagement utilizing the new rule sets delivered by WDS today.

I believe, from reading dispatches, that the allies are tallying up the trophies and loot recovered from the French on battlefields throughout Europe. Rumor has it Parliament will be raising taxes to fund needed repairs on the MP's summer homes. So a detailed ledger is required.
