Fellow Members.

After a long absence I am returning to the Club to play some games. I always enjoyed the multiplayer games.

I am rusty with the game mechanics but am getting there.

I wish to setup a 3vs3 game of Waterloo scen 007 V4.03
.

A multiplayer game is fun when the players are engaged and can usually do their turn within 24hrs received if not better. Keeping it moving keeps up the interest.

Looking for 2 additional French plyers, one an overall commander. and 3 Allied players with one being the overall commander.

The default rules as setup with the engine.

Please ask any questions or comments as to setup or interest.

Regards,

I would like to try a French subaltern, but I have little practice, and especially no practice with the default rules. I would not want to disfigure my faction. It's likely that I just don't feel able to compete. I'd better do some training with the default rules first. In any case, Vive L'Empereur!

Thank you Gentlemen. We need some more brave players especially some Allied ones.

I'm a french player but will play if you need an allied general.

For some reason, we just don't have enough allies willing to battle.

I stand corrected, if an allied officer is missing I will comply there as well. The only thing is that I don't know the rules of multiplayer, so I have to be learned about everything. Transmission of shifts I understand them, I don't understand how to do message exchange between couriers for order development, and maybe some detail that escapes me now. Count me in.

Six players, one day each to return orders, that's a week between turns, or 7 1/2 years to play the whole game, assuming everyone replies promptly every turn.

I'm prepared to risk it. I'm in Australia which often helps with turn around of replies on my part.

Prefer to be French but happy to take a command on either side.

Thank you about the length issue that many may have.

From my experience MP games are only a few months. I have played may MP games and am usually surprised at the good turn around. Complete turns in a day. Dayli turns were often played especially on weekends. I have played a 6 on 6 in the ACW that went very quickly. You have to remember that initially there is not much to do.

As well the outcome of a game can be decided in fewer turns. I don't remember them going more than 1/3 or so turns and lasting more than a few months.

I hope this helps in the decision making.

If you don't need me to play, that's fine.

I'm playing the long play battle of Waterloo and although I feel I've lost already, I'd like to stay with it and can't upgrade until we finish this battle.

I will admit defeat and quit if you need me, if you don't, I'll carry on.

Actually I have far too many battles on the fire. if you can make the number I prefer it. I have accepted all the proposed matches and now I don't know where to put them anymore. Keep me just in case of extreme necessity
