Gentlemen -

I've recently found my way back to the club after a very long time way (10+ years). Completed my training and have been graceful been reinstated at the rank when I last played (Lt.). I'm rusty but looking for an opponent to get back into the flow of things. Currently my selection is limited to Campaign Waterloo & Campaign Leipzig. However I've not played Leipzig at all so would prefer something in Waterloo. Once I get a few battle back under me I'll feel more comfortable tackling the later.

Willing to play any of the scenarios but prefer the historical ranging from the full battle of waterloo to the smaller historical scenarios. I can be contacted at Mrea35@gmail.com

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I'd be happy to give you a Waterloo game. How about Solielmont (historical, #028)? Alternatively I have Leipzig too and have never played it so we could take pot luck.

Cheers

Jonathan

Hi Tim -

I've not played either of those scenarios and only limited Leipzig as a whole. Tbh I'm somewhat intimidated by the size and length of those 2 scenarios. For instance I've yet fought a battle that encompasses night movement. Is there any other smaller scenario in either this one or perhaps Battle of Waterloo that you'd be up to playing?

Would be happy to battle you just not sure I'm quite ready for such a massive battle. The biggest battle I've fought currently is the historical Waterloo. Let me know your thoughts and I'm sure we can find something.

Cheers,
Mike

That works for me. Setup it up and I await your 1st move. Good luck and I look forward to our game.

Mike

P.S. The historical QB, right?
P.S.S. What rules do you like to use?

Sir,
Perhaps, then, Waterloo and Wavre (historical)? With optional melee resolution, or embedded melee phase.
Best regards,
Tom

Hi Tom -

I'm heading out of town to visit family so could we wait until after the 25th to start or you could make you opening move and I wouldn't respond until after Xmas most likely. As for the battle - Waterloo works for me. In terms of rules - I'm fine with Optional Melee Resolution. How do you feel regarding VP for Leader Casualties? Do you want them or not / don't care?

Mike

Hi Mike,
This is OK for me, I can play my turn of Waterloo and Wavre as the French and send it to you around Christmas. My preferences regarding the in-game options are marked in the attachment. If you agree to them, I can launch the file and start playing...
Regards,
Tom

Hi Tom -

As for the rules, they are fine but would prefer not use Movement Threat Disorder and would like Multiple Cavalry Melee. Other than that you may send your 1st turn. I've not played this combined scenario so it will be interesting for me. I've played both separately but not together. Will be interesting for me.

Thanks and good luck to you. See you on the battlefield! :-)

Mike

I'm good with Waterloo or the combined Waterloo & Warve.

Hi , I am open to a game of your choice. Let me know if you still need a dance partner.

Thanks,
