Post subject:  Allied player looking for French player [CLOSED] (for now)

I am a pretty new Allied player and looking for one more match or so.

I have all the titles but was interested in doing some of the early conflicts and these are just some suggestions on the size and style I think I can handle right now.

Austerlitz
#13H. On the Goldbach (HTH) 18 turns
#03H. Haslach-Jungingen (HTH) 30 turns
#05H. The Battle of Elchingen (HTH) 40 turns
#11H1. The Battle of Durenstein (HTH) 66 turns
#M15-22H. The Battle of Austerlitz (HTH) 44 turns

Wagram
5H1. The Battle on the Piave - Morning Assault (HTH) 16 turns
6B. The Battle of Raab (HTH) 20 turns
13H1. The Battle of Znaim - Marmont's Assaut (HTH) 24 turns
1H - The Battle of Ebelsberg (HTH) 30 turns
3H1. The Battle of Aspern-Essling (HTH) 90 turns
15H_2-10M. Left Flank in Danger 7am to 1pm - V Korps Arrives (HTH) 36 turns

Eckmuhl
H01. The Delay at Landshut (HTH) 28 turns

Marengo
001. The Battle of Loano (HTH) 54 turns
003. Rearguard Action at Voltri (HTH) 30 turns

I am good with the club's optional rules except for the manual defensive fire, I think that will slow down the phased turns too much and I am okay with having the AI doing the ADF and the player setting the parameters. If that is an issue I don't mind using the OR that Rich Hamilton has suggested to me but in those OR its not phased, and I do kind of like the phases turns (move, defensive fire, offensive fire, and melee).

I'd love to try Austerlitz.

Send a courier.

Welcome to the club Don,

Garret is an excellent opponent who gets turns back to you very quickly. He's also very willing to give you some pointers if you ask. I've played a few matches against him and am a better player as a result.

Good luck in the club.

Mike, thanks for the info on Garret, I'll definitely ask, I am still a newbie.
