Hello,

I am looking for an opponent for, preferably, a smaller game (20-30k) though, I could be persuaded to do something a little larger. I consider myself a beginner in terms of experience, though I do not mind having an opponent whose art of war I can admire as my men fall before it. I currently only possess Leipzig but have been considering getting Waterloo, Bautzen, Russia, Wagram, 1814, or Eckmuhl (I like the later period stuff). I prefer to play Allied but am willing to play French if one wishes. Last I would consider my turn return rate too be excellent unless I have a particularly busy day. Thank you for your consideration.

Respectfully,

Hi Gabriel,

I haven't had an actual "Fight" against an allied opponent for some considerable time.

If you wish we could engage on the field of Liebertwolkwitz from Campaign Leipzig. Specifically M15-068_Liebertwolkwitz.HTH.scn. It is 36 moves in total, and bigger forces wise than you had stated in your post. You can have the honour of commanding your favoured allied rabble. Have a look at the scenario first.

If you want to wait for a further option from another officer that better suits your criteria, that is not a problem.

Regards

Général Gregor Morgan,

It would be my honor to face you on the field of Leibertwolkwitz. The scenario you propose is slightly larger than my intentions held however, if you are willing to have me as an opponent, I will do my best. I look forward to commanding my brother Schlesisches Infanterie Regiment 11 in the coming battle along with the members of the other allied cohorts. Are there any rules or house rules you are partial towards? I tend to like “Night Movement Fatigue”, “Push Skirmishers” and “Movement Threat Disorder” in addition to the default though I am, of course, willing to discuss additions or subtractions.

Aside, for anyone else looking for opponents, I would be willing to take on one additional for preferably a smaller battle if anyone is still interested.

Respectfully,

Sekondleutnant Gabriel Muñoz,

I would be honoured to meet you on the field of honour. I have no doubt that you will do your utmost to ensure the Austrian, Russian and Prussian forces under your command are victorious. It is however, my intention to ensure that Liebertwolkwitz is a resounding defeat for the allies.

I have an early rise tomorrow. I will send a courier with my preferred optional rules later in the day. I am sure they will be acceptable to you.

Bon chance.

Hi Gabriel,

Can you record your email address her so that my courier can find his way to you. He is riding a magnificent horse that he took from a Cuirassier of the Imperial Russian Guard. However, the beast is, as are most Russians I have encountered, stubborn and is adamant that he should be travelling home to the east. My aide has a terrible struggle trying to keep him on the right path.

My HQ can be found at GregorMorgan@aol.com

Most Certainly,

I can be found at gabe.w.munoz@gmail.com, though my columns of dust will soon be easily visible. I'm sure the mere mention of my name will calm this steed and remind him of his duty, let alone the presence of his fellow countrymen. Of course, I will need to find you a new mount, my own Russians are indeed frightfully low after their marches across the Bohemian ranges. Sadly, this might mean a mangy breed from my Landwehr but these are tough times and one must make due. I look forward to your couriers arrival.

Respectfully,
