Looking for opponent for BGW-'The wings come together'. PTW- 'The Battle of Quatre Bras' or NIR-'Kutuzov turns to fight' or similar scenarios. Ideally, as I'm an ensign I'm looking for someone of similar rank and experience.

Sir,

I have downloaded the latest patch for NIR prior to installing the 32 bit upgrade but I have my suspicions that you are referring to something quite different. If so would you oblige and point me in the right direction as to where I can get this patch. Thanks.

(I misread the original post) IF you applied the latest NIR upgrade after the 32 bit NIR upgrade, you did it wrong. The steps for installing NIR and ALL GAME upgrades is:

Install the original NIR
Install the latest NIR upgrade from:http://www.hc-llc.net/games/patches.html
Install the 32 bit upgrades from:http://fly.hiwaay.net/~tiller/html/program.html

Any other addons would normally be added AFTER the upgrades. If the addons overwrite the NIR files, then you might need two installs of NIR. Generally, the addon site will give you enough info to decide if you need two installs.

I do not know if the NEW SETTINGS addons overwrite the NIR files.

John,
Sorry I didn't get back to you, I had a minor health problem, no big deal but getting back to normal. I'm always interested in a game but feel I should get a little experience of the original NIR before getting involved in the New settings. Andy Moss sent me the UNITS/MAIN/MAIN[2]/LEADERS and two NS scenarios. I believe that's all I'll need. Anyway I'll be ready to go once I've tried the original NIR. Thanks for the offer. Maybe we can meet up when my troops are a little more experienced. [:D]....Thanks for the offer.

Regards
