Rick, Would you be amenable to using Manual Defensive Fire? I know that it increases the number of e-mails per game, but I absolutely detest the no phases defaualt system. I find it to be the most unrealistic, ahistorical system I've ever played and I've been playing these games since Battleground Gettysburg was first released. If not would you consider a game of Battleground Waterloo? If not I understand and thank you for your consideration. Ensign Spitz, You might want to try using the embedded melee rules (and house rules)from the MOE III tourney. It gets rid of a lot of the problems that turned me off to HPS at the start. Good luck!
