A question I've had for many years and have never gotten around to ask.

Why is there a forested hex along the ridge near La Haye Sainte? Wellington's tree was simply that, a lone tree. With that whole hex wooded the game plays out oddly. Some historical moves can't be done because it it there. I've checked several dozen maps and see no reference to a copse of woods that would merit the hex to be coded like that.

Any ideas?

Hey Al,

That's actually a rather interesting question!

My assumption is because there's no ability to add a single tree.

True, but a historical cavalry charge can't be done with that hex there.

I can totally see what you mean by that.

I guess if your charging up between the Hougoumont & La Haye Sainte it's at the top of that run, but if you're charging from the other side by d'Erlon's Corps it does botch things up.
