Back in 2020 I added in updated OB files for this title which corrected the Russian batteries. Are you enjoying these corrections?

I am about to crank up a Battle of Auterlitz as the Allied player with David Andrews and wanted to hear comments on it.

I think it not only makes the game more historically correct but the new 4 gun sections work better than the old 8 gun sections.

Comments?

Well afaik the Russians had all the time these huge 12 gun units, 8 normal guns & 4 howitzer, alone from that perspective it's good to separate them. Splitting the 8 normal guns again was maybe not needed but if you star nitpicking the intervals between an 8 gun heavy battery would alone be about 90 meters(20 paces), now count the guns to it and you see that such a battery wouldn't fit in a hex.
So from that perspective it seems OK for the Russians.
