Ah, the Great Muddy v. Barrett match. Funny how we remember what we want. For my part, I remember the utter demise of the Allied army, (excluding the Prussian portion). I remember making no approach to the woods following the demise of the redcoats to block the entry of the Prussians, and holding back several turns to let them disgorge onto the field in peace - if I had not done that, no question of a major victory. And I remember failing to hold onto a minor victory by, what was it, 10 points, basically the cost of 1 gun, or 1 leader somewhere. A draw indeed, and full honours to a great game, the only game I know of with a viewing audience. To avoid any misunderstanding on my position, Muddy has both beaten me, and lost to me, (I think), over the years. To have a draw with him is completely just, and in the circumstances, in the best interests of the Club. But I would rather a rematch anywhere with him, than have him leave the field for different software; that saddens me more than the draw.

Indeed. What a pair[;)]

As I recall my Prussians didn't have the chance to disgorge anywhere in our encounter, the lessons learned against Muddy were applied to me. However I still have a loving for that battlefield and it's graphics. If just the map had been bigger.
