How does it work?

I had a weird experiment in a scenario with a friend.
I did a change to my pdt file for the weather on the 18th of June.
And I am playing a scenario which is taking place on the 15th of June. We should both have 40 hexagones of visibility.
I started the scenario and I had 40 of visibility and my opponent had 15 with mud, so we decided to have him starting the scenario and my opponent had a 40 hex of visibility but I have only 15 hex of visibility with heavy rain and mud.

So we are trying to understand the logic behind this.
I know of course that the solution is to have the same pdt[:)]
I thought that as long as we had the same weather for the same day we wouldn't have any problem.
Could you please help me to understand how it is possible?

Did you change the PDT file BEFORE or AFTER the scenario had started.

If AFTER then you will both see differing weather values for visibility.

If BEFORE then send me the PDT file. I will check it out in the Waterloo game.
