Greetings gentlemen (and General Ludwig);
went to look at a game of NIR (Kutusov turns to fight) today and noticed that I can see all of my opponents troops (we are on about turn 7). This is odd because we have fog of war turned on. Have any of you ever run into this glitch before? Thanks in advance.[?]

Is it the whole army?? Even the troops in the rear, woods et al. Because when day hits at NIR you normally can see quite far.

BTW, thanks for putting me in my own higher superior category!! [:p][:D][;)][}:)]

Looks like everyone, even the guys without the little binoculars on them. Hmm, I'll double check it. BTW, it's no secret I'm no gentleman. If that's where you want to be, well, congrats.[:D]

Would both players please send me their passwords individually? I need to be able to encrypt the file properly.

Solution on this one was really quite simple (I was using a fresh install of the game though this may not have been neccessary):

1. Delete all temp files (.yyy and .xxx).
2. Open file and select Password encryption. Toggle it OFF and then back to ON if needed.
3. Save the file and enter in the French password.
4. Send file to Don so he can finish his turn.
5. Allied player gets file and makes sure he follows above. He does his turn and then enters in his password when prompted. If not prompted then something didnt work right in the above instructions for whatever reason.

Other problems that come up in this realm of errors:

1. You see your units with unknown values but the other side as if they were your own.
2. The other player is as per #1. He sees the enemy as if they were his.

Solution:
There are two lines that need to get edited in the file. If the file is NOT encrypted then its fairly easy. Basically a line that has 0s and 1s.

If the file IS encrypted then contact me and I can help you out.

In either case I plan on putting up the solution to this on my webpage soon. Its generic to the series and also can work for the EAW and ACW series as well. I dont remember this happening in those series but just in case ....
