Hi all,

it's about the "no melee eliminations" optional rule, I think I've read somewhere else that there is another optional rule that is closely linked to this one, this later option has to be set or unset ... I don't remember which one it is ... perhaps it is the "partial retreats"...

Does it mean something to one of you?

Thanks in advance.

Right, you have to untick "Partial retreats" in order to have "No melee elimination" working properly.

I would like to see if John could toggle it where if you click on the NME rule you AUTOMATICALLY unclick the Partial Retreats rule.

Let me see what I can do about this ... might save you guys some hassle.

Just got an update tonite that fixes the problem. Even if you have Partial Retreats enabled its effects for MELEEs are now nulified but for ROUTS they remain the same.

Thus you get the benefit of the new NME rule when its selected but if PR is selected as well you only see that rule in effect for ROUT MOVEMENT.

Should be part of the next engine update. If you pester me when it will be out I will feed you to the sharks! [:D] Or worse yet I will arrange for Al Amos to deliver your mail to you! [:o)][:D] Remember, the postman always rings twice!
