The "roleplaying tag" has been in place since the very beginning, David. I am a bit baffled as to how you have overlooked it for all these years. You see, I am actually not Hanoverian. I am also not now, nor have I ever been, in the service of the British Army. I am not a real life Army Chief of Staff, nor have I ever ridden down a Frenchman, or anyone else for that matter, on my trusty battle steed and skewered them with my sword. I also don't swill Jagermeister. I am an American, structural engineer in real life. A husband, a grandfather, and a business man.
You mean it's all made up? Nothing is real???
Of course I knew it...

Hopefully that helps your clarify your confusion. As I said, roleplaying is not for everyone, and whereas it is obviously not appreciated by some, there are others who enjoy it very much.

I am not confused I said

I do understand the confusion that comes to some from reading other people messages to know if they are role-playing or not.
I think of role-playing as not being a "full time" thing on the forum because I haven't seen that many people able to stay as their persona 24/7, or at least the last time I saw one doing it, it was a very long time (I think it was Eugene).
For example if someone congratulate another member of the club depending of the way it is done I will not assimilate it as role-playing such as this intervention :

Congratulations, Stephane.

For me it looks like a member to member discussion.
