Salute! L'Chevalier enters the common room of the tavern to find a party in progress!  A fine celebration for the recent assignments of Marechal Lelievre and myself. L'Chevalier fingers the gold aiguillettes that are a symbol of his new duties as an Imperial Aide de Camp to the General Headquarters staff. His other hand absentmindedly rubs the money pouch at his belt which is uncomfortably heavier than normal. Helga! Keep the flagons full of ale, snifters with their delicate spirits, and the glasses with the finest offerings of the vineyards. It is truly an honor to be of service to La Grande Armee! Regards, |
