Post subject:  Pics and signatures
For got how to get a picture/avatar on and the pictures that many have as part of their signatures. Can any one point me in the right direction here seems my old stuff is outdated. Thanks. SALUTE!

First, you must store the graphic you wish to use on a server that can be located by the internet. Then you insert the file name between two image tags like so, [img]MyVeryCoolPicture.png[/img].

Does any of that sound familiar, or do you need step by step instructions?

By the way Tony you may want to see this topic (5th post from the last post) for avatar if you want as you will need the URL of the location containing the avatar image you wish to link to ... I use http://tinypic.com/ mostly, works good. :thumbsup:

When you set your signature, there is a check box to Disable BBcode. Make sure it is not checked.

I suspect that may be the reason for the difference between the post and the signature.
