Our entire guard force was let go in August. Since then I have been going through the motions of signing up for unemployment. Turns out I was not eligible last quarter. Still trying to get everything going.

Heat and my hernia situation have kept my mobility to a minimum. I spend most of my days in my room. I have a VA appt. in two weeks with the Surgery Team. Hoping that they can do the job right (my bro. had to have 2 surgeries for same thing). I hear that there is a chance that they have to go back in and repair what they mess up. VA doctors are not as well trained in the TEPP or TAP "keyhole" procedures.

Making my rent barely each month. Reposting my page again (thanks Scott L.).

Once I get employed again OR if the unemployment kicks in and I can live off of it I will have Scott yank the page again.

Here are my goals:

1. Get a job
2. Get a small pickup
3. Get out of LA and get work in Boise or Carson City/Reno.
4. Get more computer and board game projects ramped up and in progress.

All the best Bill, hope all goes well and you get back to the promised land (Idaho) healthy soon!

Let's get the ball rolling! I've made a donation and am only mentioning it with the hope it may help to encourage others to do the same.

Bill - I get so much pleasure out of your games and value them far, far more than the $39.99 I paid for them, so, given your fixed royalty rate I actually owe you money anyway! :D

Take care!
Dave

Thanks, Dave, lots of folks like yourself have enjoyed our games. I still feel honored, after all of these years, to be able to help out with these projects.

As a young kid of 16 I attended a session at UCLA held by Jim Dunnigan, then President of SPI. His topic was the "Future of Computer Wargaming." You would not believe how accurate he was on how the computer wargaming industry would come about. He discussed the pros and cons of playing a game on a computer. I left the session hoping someday to be part of it.

Dream come true in 1998 when I first contacted John Tiller about my idea of doing a game on Wagram.

I have many more ideas for both computer and board games and hope to see them come to pass eventually.

Great bird. The only ground feeding bird in the woodpecker family.
