Thanks, Christian. I have the older game. Wonder what is different about this one?

I also note: Berlin is further north from the Havel on the map. It should be adjacent to the river ... :frenchwink:

I had been following the forum (been lax lately), and there is a lot of info there, but I think the largest difference is the number of map areas (I thought the last game did not allow for operational movement or challenges because it had too few areas-Spain and Russia possibly being the only ones with room to move) and that the game has a longer outlook, being more similar to CW2 and the other games that simulate whole wars and periods as opposed to single campaigns...

I'm a WoN Beta tester.

For me, the main differences with the good old Napoleon's Campaigns are:

The Great Campaign, from 1805 to 1815. Did not exist in NCP.
Regional decisions.
Selective recruitment and forces production.
Diplomacy!
And a huge map with many more provinces. This was one of the issues most criticized in the NCP, because their small territory did not allow excessive maneuvers (Obviously of great importance in the Napoleonic strategy).

These details are publicly known and not violated NDA in any way :sly:
