210th anniversary of Austerlitz! One of the greatest victories in history it set Napoleon on his way to building the French empire.

Celebrate by starting up a game of Austerlitz. :sly: :frenchvive1: :russianveryhappy: :smug:

What is there about Austerlitz that needs updating? Remind me again if I have forgotten.

There are a lot of PDT files I need to update for one game. Perhaps this one fell through the cracks?

As far as I know the Battle of Austerlitz - Historical - scenario is good to go. Can't think of anything outstanding for that scenario. Many of the other scenarios are working fine too.

By far my favourite title. No I don't see anything Bill still playing General Fredel in historical battle at turn 39. A great game against the greatest allied player I have met.

I have not observed a sausage that needs fixing. Perhaps a couple of extra divisions of French infantry would be handy right now.

Thanks Colin!

I just fired off a stack of files for Campaign Bautzen for an update. That was the most pressing of the updates I wanted to get out.

Leipzig is next. I have a lot of PDT files to check in that one. Eckmuhl too (PDT files).

Well there is the problem of 2-rank infantry fire not working like it should(is at 75% instead 150%), but that is likely an engine problem and not something that the Bill can work on, besides that it's only a problem for the what-if scenarios so the historical scenarios on the mainland are not affected by it.

Besides that line of patches that started last year in August have added some handy things:
"Added Magnified 2D view"
"Added 2D terrain slopes to show elevations"
"Added movement sounds"
Only Austerlitz and Napoleon's Russian Campaign are missing these latest additions and so I look forward to a patch.

I had gathered some stuff for the Günzburg scenario(#02H. The Action at Gunzburg (HTH)), I have added a thread I the feedback section for it:

I also saw some minor stuff while looking through the OOB, I have added a thread for it too:

I copied your text from the other two threads and will look that over in the coming months. I added comments to your lengthy thread on the 1805 OB file.

Pat Mossier and I are 13 turns into the battle, and neither of us think we can win!

Jim - I love when I get comments on a scenario like that ... both guys saying that one side cant win ... I guess I did a good job then ... means it balanced out to a DRAW!!! :russianveryhappy:
