Post subject:	downloading problem
has anyone experienced a a problem downloading bte files. I have an opponent in Europe using windows 7 and Firefox Mozilla. he has several pbem opponents and he cannot download any of their files. the problem is also intermittent.......it comes and goes. he has tried all the obvious things........shutting off protection and so on. I have sent the file zipped and unzipped...........both don't download.

Works fine for me in win 7 and Firefox, but I did hear there were problems using Outlook somewhere. Maybe try a different email address like Hotmail?

I have windows 7 too and I have problems with downloads once in a while (it will not let me overwrite files sometimes), but I also sometimes have problems downloading files and it tends to be a yahoo mail thing... did he try an alternate email address/provider?

I have been using the free email client "Thunderbird" by the same folks (Mozilla) that make the Firefox browser and love it. Never have problems with game file downloads. My 2 cents worth
