I foolishly upgraded to Windows 10 and it has not been a great experience..
My old HPS games still work on it but my even older Battleground/Talonsoft games don't. That alone makes a retrograde to Windows 7 a must..

Just saw this on a forum on the internet that Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 7 by 2020. Has anyone else seen any definite date on this? |

Thanks, Clint, means that JTS will probably no longer support it sometime next year. Sad to see the older OS's go away as the new one (10) is a real can of worms. I get the idea that MS was desperate to release Windows 10 and can't own up that they have a real problem on their hands. Guess Windows 11 is next, right? (but be sure to read Rich Hamilton's response to this ... and I meant to say 2020 and not next year .... but this has been rendered null and void by Rich's reply ....) |

I never read anything definite about that, other than this would be according to Microsoft's operating schedule for OS support cycles - but, that they had made exceptions to this arbitrary date range, notably with XP. I would not consider it anywhere near written in stone until I see it directly from Microsoft -naturally ymmv. |

The Matrix Battleground collections work on Windows 10. FYI for you, Ralf. Each set includes all of the games for each series. Thus for the Nap series the download/installer has the NIR/PTW/BGW games. Same for the ACW games. |

Glad to hear that, Rich. I know that the XP thing happened due to the builds using newer version of software. Hoping that that doesn't happen for the Win 7 folks for some time to come.
