There's also likely settings in your Windows Security section that can alleviate this.

I can assure you, this is a "false positive" from Microsoft.

Jim, what is that URL? That's not the site for game updates this is:

Maybe your attempt to update is being hijacked by malware. Do you have any scanning software installed e.g. Malwarebytes? Defender does not like it so I suspect it is.

Just me being over cautious. I think I have it sorted after managing to wend my way through Defender and I do run AVG too.

Just wondering, will the "Upgraders" also get access to a full 4.0 installer? I only got links to the games I bought directly from JTS.

You have to send an email to Support@wargameds.com listing the games and serial numbers you wish to obtain full installers for and they will be sent. Those are not in the store, since they weren't purchased from JTS, hence not getting automatic emails about them.
