Guys - I tried checking out the old SDC website but apparently its gone. Did Steve Trauth find a new website for it or is it gone? Hope that if Steve will not be doing it that someone else picks it up. It was a nice resource to use for the games. |

Apologies, Bill, I thought I had maybe sent you an email awhile ago, when I thought I saw you referring to the site; it's gone, and went at about the time I left the project that I was on. It simply came down to not being able to justify the costs involved with hosting and the domain registration. It also was mostly redundant material from the company site. I am pretty sure that I checked with the guys running the Blitz and made sure they had all of the downloads I'd had, and I know that Scott L knows where to find me. I am 99% certain that I did not get rid of anything, so if anyone were to find anything off of Archive.org, I could provide it. I am pretty sure that Rich H might have had all of the map images I put together, however I also know that they'd moved on with the stock artwork, so the maps are going to look a little dated compared to what WDS is selling. While I do have a site (and I am pretty sure Scott replaced the link to this new site), it isn't a fan site or a how to site, so much as it is a support site for the design work that I'm doing. And by 'support' I mean as a place to talk about the design processes and or graphics work. It will probably be focused on some specific periods (more than likely limited to American history). Again apologies. |
