Greetings all. I am a new member -- probably the very newest -- and would like some recommendations on a couple of good scenarios (in any game) that would provide a good sense of gameplay/dynamics/challenges and so on. I'd like to be somewhat un-clueless before I seek a PBEM game. Thanks all!

Greetings! Glad to have you with us!

Each game has a nice little explanatory document called “Getting Started,” which you can use in tandem with the getting started scenario, always at the top of the scenario select list. These are set up to familiarize you with the game system, if you read the document and play along at the same time.

I’m not sure what others may say, but some of the scenarios from Waterloo (also present in the Final Struggle NB demo), are very good to get a feel for the engine against the AI, and are how I myself got started. These scenarios being “The Ridge” as the French, and the Plancenoit scenarios as the Prussians.
