But you lose your forward movement, which just doesn't seem right for such a small group of horsemen to be able to do. Even if their horses are named Dash and Elan. For me it is similar to 3x skirmishers in a chateau stopping a full army invasion. Just set the building on fire and have target practice as they run away.

I know, I am asking for a lot. The games have come a long way from the Avalon Hill days.

While I am on the podium, and just venting, click and drag mouse for movement has a follow the road problem. If there is a major curve in the road the unit does not stay on the road, usually. They get off into the meadows to pick flowers or strike up a conversation with the milk maids, or the horse galivant into the woods so they can wear the Disorder sash in the next parade.

Christmas is coming up fast! Have to decide what new game to get! Only time my wife says, "pick out a game, you child!" She doesn't see the mental exercise it provides which I desperately need. I foresee my face on a build board along the highway asking if you have seen this man?

The ability for cavalry to pass by would be nice. Just think of the squares at Waterloo, even there it was enough room to circle around them and so also to pass by.
But I would say this should go without a "penalty", if a hex is "jumped" this way an enemy unit in it should be allowed to fire once on the cavalry unit passing, also the cavalry unit should be disordered once it has passed that hex.

"unit does not stay on the road" - Richard B.

Potty breaks! You can't be that ruthless to forbid those?
