My deepest apologies to one and all if this is the wrong forum; my rationale is that as it's a tavern, one needs something to absorb the spirits.

At any rate. As a hobby I play balalaika in the local Balalaika Orchestra (I'm otherwise a purveyor of "stoner" and "doom metal:). We rehearse in the back room of a "General Store" (fka the Russian General Store, but the Russian was removed as the U.S. media added Russia to the two minutes/hour hate). Having a sudden taste for the traditional Russian dish of picked herring and onion on black bread, I came across the below (please click) in the Bread aisle of aforesaid General Store. (There's also a Peter the Great brand.) I'm happy to report that it's very tasty, either alone or with herring or borscht.

Happy Christmas to one and all.
