Well well, blown me down chaps, I am abashed, humbled, honoured and delighted all at once, I haven't felt this good since that night after Talavera, remember, in the tavern, where we found that rum supply and that delightful young woman, what was her name now? Esmerelda? I forget, age don't you know, sorry, rambling....... My absence form the club was too long, but I am delighted to have been able to get stuck back in, I've had a brilliant time since coming back and this has genuinely made me smile. Thank you very much for the honour, the games and the friendship. Now, Gregor is absolutely correct, the drinks and cheroots are most definitely on me, let's drink until we can't drink any more! This may take some time. First toast, The King! Please propose the next gentlemen............ |
