Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

I am back to working with WDS as of today. I will be working on maps (only). I asked to stay out of the scenario design work to keep things simple for my health. David Freer has a lot of map work he would like for me to do for the Panzer Campaigns series. Its an easy pace I will be working at. I doubt that it will impact my game file returns. Just letting my opponents and friends know my status.

My first assignment is to finish up that northeast corner of the Donets Front '43 master map. See this thread for more info:

I had been working on it when I resigned in March. Glad to be able to follow up and finish it off. I had already done a lot of work on that map so getting to finish it off is nice.

Almost done with my first map assignment for WDS. Huge section that measures approximately 130 x 328 hexes for the Donbas Master Map for the Panzer Campaigns series. I should have it finished over the weekend at the very latest.

I have done a lot of the work for this master map but it also contains sections from the Kharkov games and others. The PzC maps are harder to work on than the Nap maps as the bridges have to be added manually for the hexside water pieces (Stream, River, Canal) as well as the full water hex locations. The full water hex ferry locations also have to be placed too. The hexside ferries are placed using the Scenario Editor. And of course there are rail pieces to add in as well.

This is the last section for the big master map. On to work on something else next week more than likely.

The large "Southern" map section was the biggest I worked on for this master map and is 530 x 270 hexes in size. Its the largest map section I have done for the PzC series along with the large Luzon map of being 330 x 560 in size. Actually the original Luzon master map included more mapped area to the south but we didnt need it for that game.

Another "north-eastern" section above the Southern expansion map was about the same size as the one I am working on now.
