You'd be very welcome Scott  Cardiff used to have a pub called The Retreat which had a sign showing the retreat from Moscow. Perhaps unsurprisingly its closed now, retreating through the freezing snow being harried by Cossacks isn't the image folks want when considering where to go for a quiet drink after work! |

Not exactly on topic, but here's something I did in Auckland a couple of months ago. I'm the tall one with all the hair. Didn't find The Lord Nelson, but the beer and the grub I had at a couple of pubs on Nelson St was more than adequate. |
